Monkey Works

Monkey Works is an eight week theatre residency that empowers students to create and perform original works.

Macha Monkey works individually with classroom teachers to acheive social studies, reading, writing and arts goals.

Every fall, fifth graders at Seattle's Hawthorne Elementary School become certified playwrights in Monkey Works. 2007 was the fourth annual presentation of Monkey Works at Hawthorne.
