Hearts Are Monsters
by Kelleen Conway Blanchard
Macha Monkey Productions holds its new play winter workshop this month, featuring three staged readings of Hearts are Monsters, a new work in progress by Seattle playwright Kelleen Conway Blanchard.
Hearts Are Monsters features a 16-year-old girl with a misshapen head, her pretty twin sister (a former child star who now debauches), their drunk and lonely mother, a sexy boarder who plays guitar, and Daddy’s ghost. He seeks justice.
Macha Monkey will fully produce Hearts Are Monsters in the fall of 2010.
